Had a lovely stay at Hotel Henri IV in Nérac. The blend of modern amenities with vintage charm made the atmosphere really special. Our Standard Queen Room felt cozy with nice decor and comfortable furnishings that allowed for a great night's sleep. Impeccable cleanliness stood out. Julien and Anne, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond during our stay. They advised us on fantastic dining options. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. the bright dining room featured a delightful spread, including a juicer for fresh orange juice. the shower's separate hot and cold taps were a bit inconvenient. While the pool was inviting, it felt quite small, more like a plunge pool than a swimming area.

The pool is quite tiny, lacking sufficient space for a proper swim!!! The separate hot and cold taps in the shower were annoyingly impractical. An elevator would significantly enhance the stay, as lugging bags up the stairs isn't ideal!!!

We had a delightful one-night stay in a beautifully restored hotel that maintained its old-world charm. The cozy seating areas downstairs and the lovely outdoor terrace with a plunge pool really enhanced the experience. The owners went above and beyond, helping us with bike storage and even providing a ride to a bike shop when we encountered trouble. Breakfast was served in a charming room with a wonderful array of options. While everything was fantastic, the only slight drawback was the small size of the plunge pool.
